TnO Profit and LossTorendraAfter a year of hard campaigning, the gifts that Jadhrim bequeathed Forgileill are a little the worse for wear. Additionally, there have been some gains from the saving of Tir Nan Og: Torendra still has the cloak that was originally a gift from the Queen of Celene when Jadhrim first came to the temperate Flanaess from tropical Teddin. It is a deep royal blue on the outside and lined in a fiery red. It is trimmed with a wide black velvet border with Gwaithor writing in gold thread all around the hem, hood and along its edges. Incredibly, it is undamaged and not showing any appreciable wear. When everyone else suffered during the Death Winter of Slough Feg's Ragnorak, Torendra was merely a little chilly. It is fairly heavy but it gives the wearer +50 on RRs vs natural or magical cold when worn blue side out and +50 on RRs vs natural or magical fire attacks when worn red side out. The magic attack deflecting cloak pin is long gone and has been replaced by one that was a gift from Slaine, who was hoping for a shag by way of thanks. The Andropathic sword has a few more nicks and burrs along the blade, which Torendra has sharpened out as best as she's able, following lessons from Kamilata. KamilataAfter a year of hard campaigning, the gifts that Jadhrim bequeathed Forgileill are a little the worse for wear. Additionally, there have been some gains from the saving of Tir Nan Og: He has a scar on the right side of his forehead from a Fir Falian spear. Kamilata's original Brandenheer armour has now been through four major battles and numerous skirmishes. Bits are missing; some have been replaced with locally manufactured patches, some have not. The helmet has a huge rent in it from a Fir Failian spear and cannot be worn. He also has a druid's egg, recovered from a tortured drune within the Mansions of the Moon. Apparently, this is supposed to be some sort of repository for magical power. His original shield had been replaced by one of the 'growling shields' of the Fir Domain. At the celebrations following the second deluge, the Fir Domain presented Kamilata with a replacement for the worn, battle damaged item (which was promptly sacrificed to the Goddess by throwing it into the [new] Irish Sea). The new shield is faced with beaten gold and weighs 16kg. It is finely decorated by the finest craftsmen of Gorias, it features knotwork and depictions of Carnun and the Goddess. Bugger all use in a fight, though. The Sessair present the party, collectively, a black iron Gae Bolg. Again, this is the work of their tribe's master craftsmen. It is +10 and it's traditional thirty barbs and teeth mean that all criticals done with this weapon are resolved using the 'rending' table (Arms Companion). There is also the stout hazel rod. If one were to make a pile of seaweed, driftwood, flotsam and jetsum and then, as the first rays of the sun break over the horizon, stick this rod in where the mast would be. Then until the next sunrise, the pile of material will turn into a boat (of similar dimensions and profile to the pile of stuff). The alteration includes providing a sail from the newly grown mast. This rod has one charge remaining. The pile of material will turn back from a boat to a heap of detritus at daybreak. Snatching the rod and plunging it back in will result in the 'boat' reappearing. However, if already afloat, water will have already got into the structure and the resulting craft will more closely resemble a sieve. Forgileill GwathloAfter a year of hard campaigning, the gifts that Jadhrim bequeathed Forgileill are a little the worse for wear. Additionally, there have been some gains from the saving of Tir Nan Og: She learnt (from the Harp of Amergin, the Teeth of the Moon Sow and the Tuatha de Dannan themselves) a number of Celtic songs, lays and epics. She has recurring headaches from overcasting fireball at the Ghoul King and a huge scar on her right hip from a Vani axeman. Forgileill's inherited ancient Yicduroh has not fared too well on campaign. It is black and oft repaired. Much the worse for wear, it no longer protects as well as it used to and each time it is donned or doffed there is a 50% that it will simply cease to function effectively as armour. This is actually wyvern hide and the furniture is blackened high steel or eog. It has been deliberately made to appear dull and unimpressive. Of decreasing utility as it ages, it now protects as AT9. The penalty for trying to move silently in this armour is only -5. The penalty for fine digital manipulation in this armour's gauntlets is also only -5. It wears as a soft leather armour type. She also has a small robust travelling case containing brushes, combs, tweezers, scissors/clippers, a mirror, a certain amount of Gwen type make up as well as some larger brushes and combs which appear to have been used on rocca in the past. This didn't get much use and in fact is still full of horse hair. Jadhrim also gives Forgileill four small whalebone combs/slides for her hair. Amongst the Grey Elves these are normally worn at the back of the head, out of sight, due to the tight braids over the front, top and sides. They hold the loose flowing hair in place, preventing the braiding from working loose. Such things are almost certainly familial heirlooms, passed down the female side, presented at adulthood. Each is decorated with delicate carvings depicting the elemental themes. Originating from Arbolt, the home of the Grey Elves, these are old, but are also enchanted. The first three give the user access to Earth, Water and Air Law to tenth level. The last has been broken in the past and has teeth missing. It gives knowledge of Fire Law to eighth level. Forgileill has been riding Looy for just over a year: Looy's extras are a bow (strung, with a small packet with two strings) and sixteen arrows in a quiver (The quiver contains three spare arrow heads, a little glue, carefully wrapped fletchings and some very fine thread.) A small (2litre) iron cooking pot with a lid. Other items, two water skins, a bag of oats, a bag of citrus and other fruits and small quantity of waybread and some horse useful herbs in a pouch, were all consumed fairly early on. Additionally, two of the ponies are now loaded with the following: An open box containing six two pint glass flasks There is also a wooden chest containing a bundle of four 10 litre leather sacks with drawstring closures, three grazing masks, two stirrup irons, Additionally, there is sheet of sail cloth which could make a shelter for six persons, Tud Ap BreninAfter a year of hard campaigning, the gifts that Jadhrim bequeathed Forgileill are a little the worse for wear. Additionally, there have been some gains from the saving of Tir Nan Og: He has learned, from the Tuatha de Dannan themselves, one or two of Celtic songs, lays and epics. He also appears to have had his old crippling wounds successfully healed. Tud has recovered his skull collection. This action seemed perfectly normal to the Fir Domain, although it does go a little beyond the trophy taking one would normally associate with ilin. There are skulls of a Kelpie, Nuckeleve (has two skulls), Fucan and half human - half Cythron. In addition to this, Tud has a rather smelly partially decayed square of half human - half Cythron skin. Tud has been riding Marteenoh for over a year. Marteenoh's extras included Tud's bow (unstrung, each one having a small packet with three strings) and six arrows in a quiver (The quiver contains no spare arrow heads, a little glue, carefully wrapped fletchings and some very fine thread.) He also possesses a number of gold coins recovered from Fachdannan, Osdan's Druidic henchman. There are 10 from the Drune lands, 12 from Perrenland[1] and two from somewhere called 'Western Immorian' (allegedly)[2] Also there is the large chunky gold ring that was their reward for the death of Finn Mac Dubh and another silvery ring with a pale violet stone; which may be part of someone's treasure from Vog Mur The silver torc which was the party's badge of office from Osdann Thranduil LominlindiAfter a year of hard campaigning, the gifts that Jadhrim bequeathed Forgileill are a little the worse for wear. Additionally, there have been some gains from the saving of Tir Nan Og: He has scars on his arms from saving the small child from the Shoggy Wolves. Carried through Mansions of the Moon:
